About Me

I have loved creative writing since I was young. As an elementary teacher, writing was my favorite subject to teach. After having my own kids and learning about what challenged me as a parent and what worried them as kids, I decided to create the What Do You Do….? series of books. I hope to have many books in this series!  

I was an accountant before a teacher but my most important job is being a mom to my 4 kids and a wife to my husband. When I am not parenting or writing, I love to read, cook and jump rope. I love  pizza and my favorite color is yellow!

Becoming a parent was so amazing. Parents get to experience the unconditional love you have for your child. But no one can prepare you for how hard it can be too. I’m writing this series to help other parents know they are not alone. I understand parenting is hard, and I have plenty of parenting tips and parenting advice to share from my own experiences. I’m also writing for kiddos too. I will never forget how my son cried and screamed during his first 2 dentist visits. It was devastating for me and so scary for him. I hope this series can provide ideas for kids of what to expect when they encounter new things and experiences.
